3rd and Final Danzig Fiend Art Competition
That’s right fiends, this is the last one. As you can see this site hasn’t been updated since last years contest, because unfortunately I no longer have the time. But instead of letting this site die of neglect, I’m sending it off with a bang one last competition. After that, the site will be heading off to the cemetery. All that will be left is a one page hall of fame section with the best works I have received these past couple of years. Now about that contest: Some very generous street team members donated this year’s prizes. I’ve got promotional CDs, stickers, and post cards that I’ve been stashing away for this very event. If you didn’t get any of this stuff through the street team last year, now is your chance. The five best Danzig inspired works of art I receive will get a package. I will be judging this contest based on quality and originality. In order to qualify, it must be related to music by Glenn Danzig (i.e. danzig, samhain, or misfits), and can not use someone else’s copyrighted photos or art. For example, don’t steal a picture of Danzig off the web, use a photoshop filter on it, and then send it to me - it will not be posted. I will accept multiple entries, but please keep the number down to your best few. Such as, if you have different manipulations of the same basic art, choose your favorite to send. And please try to keep the file sizes under 100k and less than 600 pixels wide or high. Save them as JPEGs or GIFs. Any art medium will be excepted. The competition deadline: June 1st Send all entries to: robertvillareal@hotmail.com All qualifying art will be posted at the contest’s end for at least one month, along with an announcement of the winners.
