*Update* (4/8/02) The 2nd Annual contest is over. There were some killer entries this year, and it was a very close race, but the results are finally in. Check out the winners on the contest page. Thanks go out to the staff at The 7th House for being judges. Some new sections will be added in the following monthes, including a Hall of Fame. Also, be on the look out in stores for the upcoming release: Danzig 7 - I Luciferi, scheduled for release June 4th.

(1/4/02) The year ended with two killer Danzig shows on Sunset Blvd, at the Whisky a Go Go and the Roxy. Your humble host got the privilege of hanging out with Devilman and The 7th House crew while in Hollywood. Among the songs that were played was Devil's Plaything, Blood and Tears, Hollywood Babylon, as well as three new songs. Check out The 7th House for set-lists, pictures, and more info. If anyone has any stories or reviews of the shows and would like them posted, send them here. Also got to hang with the band for a while after the Roxy show. The band autographed a Live on the Black Hand Side CD for me, so now I'm ready to part with my older autographed Satan's Child CD for the next contest scheduled to begin Feb 10th. The Satan's Child CD was autographed by the whole band in person in April of 2000 during a record signing in Kansas City. The rules for this new contest have not been decided as of yet. (11/30/01) As many of you all ready know - there is big news! Danzig will be playing two special shows on Sunset Blvd the weekend before New Years. It'll be Dec 28 at the Whiskey A Go Go, and Dec 29 at the Roxy. Check out Danzig's official site for more info. I hope to see you fiends at the shows! I'm also hoping to pick up some future prizes for the 2nd annual contest while I'm there. The next contest is currently scheduled to begin in February 2002 to celebrate Danzig Fan Art's first anniversery. I'll post more news about this soon. Some new art has been added including a killer Misfits era Glenn by Danny Miller. Several new Tattoos are now up as well as a new story. Be sure to check it out. *Update* (10/1/01) A great deal of new art has been added since the last update, contributed by both new and current artists. Also, some new tattoos have been added, however the names of those who sent them in have been misplaced. If one of these anonymous tattoos is yours, please contact me so I can post your name. Thanks everyone for supporting Danzig and contributing to this site. I'd like to see more stories if you have them. Thanks!

(7/15/01) Danzig Fan Art has moved to it's new home, under the wing of www.RavenousMedia.com. This was due to problems with the old host Brinkster, so now there should no longer be any more bandwidth restriction problems. The move caused a back up in some of the art I've recieved, and I'm sorry for the delay. There's still some more construction going on here, and I'd like to ask that anyone who has linked here to please update that link. In other news, there are three new artists that have been added to the roster. Excellent work - I look forward to seeing more.

(6/3/01) A ton of downloads have been sent to me in the last couple of weeks. Bud sent a killer flash animation for the song Skulls. Smage sent lots of great winamp skins. Thanks everyone for the contributions. Also, Bill Bronson has some new artwork up on his page - extremely cool stuff.

(5/18/01) I've recieved plenty of new stuff while my computer was offline for a few weeks, and it's all been added. A few new artists have been added to the roster, the first story is now up in the stories section, and the first tattoos have been sent in for the new tattoo section. There's plenty of new things to check out. Also, I've been searching my private collection for a suitable prize for the next contest. I should have more info about it coming soon.

(4/26/01) Some new artwork has been added from myself and Danjel. I'd also like to thank everyone for the compliments on the site's new look. The artists' profiles are being added to as I recieve their information. I'm also considering adding a Danzig tattoo section. More news and updates coming soon!

(4/25/01) The site continues to evolve. Another major graphics overhaul has just been completed. The art itself has gone through an organizational change and is now indexed by artist name. Each artist that has contributed art to the site now has their own page. A new downloads section has been included. In the coming weeks there will be new items added to it like custom graphics, icons, desktop themes, and possibly screensavers. The Reviews section has been converted into a Stories section, and will incorporate stories about Danzig, Samhain, and Misfits.

(4/16/01) The Danzig 4p Font has finally been completed and is now available for download under the fonts section. Sorry about the delay. The Danzig (new scratchy-logo) Font is still in the works. Other new improvements to the site include some new art, graphics, and a new background.

(4/11/01) The first monthly Danzig Fan Art Award has been awarded to TeenagersFromMars.com - an excellent site. Every month there will be a new award given out to a Danzig, Samhain, or Misfits site.

(4/9/01) Some new artwork has been added. Other improvements include a new intro page, a guestbook, and several new links. The Danzig Fan Art site has also joined HorrorFind and the Fiend Network . The fonts are still being worked on, but will be up soon. Be sure to sign the Guestbook!

(4/2/01) The Danzig Fan Art contest is over! So much great artwork was sent in, making it very difficult to choose the winners. The grand prize goes to Gilamonster, 1st prize to Wolverine, and 2nd prize goes to Danjel6;66. All the entries were fantastic though, and are up now in the gallery. Also, the gallery has now been broken down into six different catagories due to all the new art. Look forward to more contests and give aways in the future. Thanks!

(3/30/01) Lots of exciting things going on here. The fonts are coming along. The classic Danzig font will contain the alphabet from 4p as its uppercase along with other improvements. Expect many changes to come in the following weeks to this site. Another major graphics overhaul is in the works which will include gif animation, flash, and a new contents. New sections will be added including a review section for you fiends to post your concert reviews. The winner for the contest will be announced on April 2, and all the art work will be posted. There's still a few days left to enter!

(3/21/01) The new double live album has been announced on the official Danzig-Verotik site. Many believe the art on the front cover is sub-par, and have come up with their own versions (including myself). These have all been posted, and if anyone else would like to contribute one - feel free. There is a new font in the works and some of the artwork in the gallery has been updated.

(3/18/01) Lots of new fan art is up, incuding several excellent works by Dave Perkins. Verotik fan art is now being included with the first being from Bill Bronson. Also, I've included my design for the band Cold Eternal, the name coming from a song off of Danzig 6.

(3/14/01) There were some size and spacing issues with the Misfits font that Version 1.2 corrects. Those who have the font posted on their websites should switch to the updated version. Thanks everyone who pointed out the flaws, next time I'll develop a beta version before distributing it. Speaking of which, a new Danzig font is in the works that is made to look like Danzig's newer logo with the scratched lines, as well as an updated version of the classic Danzig font that will contain numbers and more symbols. Also, time is beginning to run short in the contest - send me those entries.

(3/1/01) A Misfits font has been developed and is now available for download. The rules for the art contest have been decided and are now posted on the home page. Good luck to everyone!

(2/26/01) More new artwork up in the gallery by me (Rob) and also Metallifits - thanks. I'm still going through my collectables to find a worthy prize for the contest. In the mean time for those who want to start brainstorming, basically the theme is to choose a song off any album written by Glenn Danzig and design some artwork about it. The official rules for the contest will be posted soon.

(2/21/01) The site has gone through a major graphics overhaul. Things are beginning to take shape around here. There will be a contest to be announced soon where winners will recieve some Danzig stuff. The rules and dates are to be announced soon.

(2/17/01) This site has been added to the links of the official Danzig fan/chat site: The 7th House . Look forward to more progress and artwork to come in the following weeks. Also, there is talk of a possible contest in the near future.
