Battle Hymns Volume I Review

Review: Battle Hymns Volume I

Artist: Cancerslug

Although I have heard lots of people gripe about how this album sucks because it isn't as good as the older stuff, I say to hell with them because I think they are missing the point. Cancerslug's BATTLE HYMNS vol.I is a reworking of 21 of their older songs, inclduing Retroabortion, Stalker's Rage, and The Coulda Beens. This album is on par with everything the band has done in the past, and for those who haven't heard the band, this (and Vol. II) would be a good place to start, as the sound is as close to where it seems the band is going that you can get right now. For those who have heard these songs before in their older form, you HAVE to check them out now, because if you liked them then, they will blow you away now.
