Beyond Re-Animator Review

Review: Beyond Re-Animator

Director: Brian Yuzna

Loved the first one - funny, gory, a good play on the Frankenstein theme by way of a Lovecraft adaptation. It'd been so long since the second was made, I was surprised to see a third one. Although I didn't like it as much as the original, Beyond Re-Animator was great. This one takes place in a prison; the plot was real similar to Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell. Jeffrey Combs is again amazing as Herbert West, and the humor and gore was along the same lines as the first two. Be sure to watch the music video on the DVD extras - fucking hysterical!
