Big Fish Review

Review: Big Fish

Director: Tim Burton

Tim Burton is probably the only big director with the balls to make a movie a like this. It's about a guy who lives in the "tall tales" of his own imagination, while also being about the troubled relationship with his son. So it flips back in forth between fantasy story telling and drama. As far as I know, that combination is unprecedented in movies (there are a few comic books like that though). The movie is great - it sucks you in. Hard to picture Ewan McGregor with an Alabama accent though.
