Director: Larry Cohen
Quetzalcoatl, an ancient Aztec bird-snake god, makes a nest in the top of the Chrysler building and feeds on construction workers, window washers, and even a nude sunbather. Dave Carradine and Richard Roundtree step in to save the day. Also, there's an Aztec cult going around carving people's skin off and tearing out hearts (ancient Aztecs and other civilizations really did do human sacrifices to Quetzalcoatl by the way) You really can't go wrong with movies about a giant stop-animated animals on tall towers in New York. This movie is pretty well written, directed, and acted considering what it is, not to mention good gore effects. Between this and “God Told Me To”, Larry Cohen is really beginning to grow on me.
