The Church Review

Review: The Church

Director: Michele Soavi

I've been itching to see this for a long time because of it's association with Dario Argento, and that it was originally meant to be Demons 3. What I didn't realize until recently is that this was directed by Michele Soavi, director of one of the coolest movies of all time, Dellemorte Dellomore A.K.A. Cemetary Man. Once I discovered this I had get The Church. It was FUCKING AWESOME... all the right components to make a good film: great story, artistic directing, beautiful setting, quality soundtrack, brutal death scenes, good props, blood, tits, and even the acting was halfway decent for a itilian flick. I'm going to have to run out and get Stage Fright and somehow get my hands on a copy of The Sect. Why the fuck did this guy stop making movies?
