The Punisher Review

Review: The Punisher

Director: Jonathan Hensleigh

Turned out to be better then I imagined it would and definitely better than the first punisher movie. I would have liked a lot more violence; something like this could have easily been taken to Robocop levels. But I have to admit, it still had a few fantastic kill scenes. The characters pretty much sucked (especially his apartment neighbors), and there were many moments that borderlined on retarded. But overall it was a pretty entertaining movie. I would have liked to have seen Punisher darker and more brutal. From what I remember from the comic book, he's supposed to be like batman to the extreme. They were trying to go in that direction, but really didn't push it far enough.
