You've Ruined Everything Review

Review: You've Ruined Everything

Artist: Even Worse

I came across Even Worse when I rented CBGB's: Punk at the bowery, which is a collection of live performances of obscure punk bands playing at the legendary CBGB's. This CD is amazing! This is early 80s punk at its finest. It's dirty, thrashy, catchy, sarcastic, and self loathing. The first 13 tracks are their lost studio LP (circa 1982). These songs are so clear and crisp that it is hard to believe that something this good wasn't released until 2002. The next 13 tracks are a live show at Max's in 81. Don't let the live material throw you, the sound quality is great as is the performance. Hell, it even includes a cover of the Black Flag classic "Nervous Breakdown." If you love old school punk this is a must have. These songs have not aged a bit since the day they were recorded.
